While physiotherapy services were available, essential therapies like Occupational Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Remedial Therapy remained beyond reach. This lack of accessible services meant that parents and patients had to travel to distant cities, incurring not only financial burdens but also physical and emotional strains. The establishment of Umang was a turning point in addressing these critical issues.

Umang’s journey began in March 2021, with only 16 cases. Over the years, it has grown exponentially, conducting a remarkable 2647+ Neurological Consultations and follow-ups as of July 2023. These consultations cater to children facing a wide range of neurological challenges, including seizures, headaches, and developmental delays.
