Zilla Parishad Free Camp:

At UMANG, our commitment to the betterment of the community drives us to actively participate in free camps organized by Zilla Parishad across various regions in Latur. These camps serve as a platform for our dedicated therapists to provide their expertise and conduct assessments for children with diverse needs. During these impactful camps held in Udgir, Ahmedpur, and Latur, our skilled therapists carried out more than 200 assessments, reaching out to families who might not have had access to such services before. By collaborating with Zilla Parishad, we endeavor to extend our services to underserved communities and create a lasting positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Zilla Parishad Staff Training Seminar:

UMANG takes immense pride in facilitating training programs and seminars for Zilla Parishad staff, Anganwadi workers, and Asha workers to promote awareness and early intervention for children with disabilities. Through these enlightening sessions, we equip the participants with valuable insights and knowledge to create inclusive environments that nurture the growth and development of children with special needs. Our seminar includes valuable information on effective parenting and teaching techniques, empowering the participants to play a pivotal role in supporting the children’s journey towards a brighter future. By empowering the professionals who work closely with children, we believe in fostering a compassionate and understanding society that embraces diversity and inclusion.

Art for Autism Online Competition:

In the wake of the lockdown in 2021, UMANG commemorated Autism Week by organizing a nation-wide drawing competition and a thought-provoking seminar to raise awareness about autism and eliminate the stigma associated with it. The online competition brought together participants from all corners of the nation, inspiring creativity, and artistic expression while advocating for autism awareness. UMANG took the opportunity to celebrate the unique talents and abilities of children with autism, demonstrating that every individual has the potential to shine bright and contribute positively to society. The winners of this enriching competition were honored on Autism Day, 2nd April 2021, fostering a sense of pride and achievement in each young artist and fostering an environment of support and acceptance.
