Introducing Umang:
Our journey began in 2020 as a visionary project initiated by Dr. Prashant Utage, in partnership with Zilla Parishad. Our doors officially opened in March 2021, marking a significant milestone as Maharashtra’s First Ever Center for Differently Able Children in a rural setting. We are on a mission to create a more inclusive society where every individual, regardless of their abilities, can thrive.
Comprehensive and Accessible Care: With a passionate commitment to this cause, we provide comprehensive care that’s not only accessible but also affordable for all. Our approach is grounded in a multidisciplinary philosophy, where a compassionate team of therapists, educators, and healthcare professionals collaborates to support each child’s unique journey towards progress and achievement. Umang Institute is more than just a center; it’s a place where dreams take flight.
Nurturing Abilities, Celebrating Diversity: Through an array of therapies including Occupational Therapy, Behavioral Management Therapy, Sensory Integration Therapy, Play Therapy, Hydrotherapy, Group Therapy, and Social Skill Therapy, we celebrate diversity and nurture abilities. Our vision extends far beyond our center’s walls. We envision a future where every child’s potential knows no bounds, and where abilities shine brighter than disabilities. Our commitment to rewriting the narrative of abilities extends to the community and beyond. Join us on this transformative journey as we illuminate lives and pave the way for individuals to lead lives of dignity and fulfillment. Together, we can make a world where abilities truly know no limits.
